World record! Jonas Deichmann completes 106 long-distance triathlons in 106 days

An unprecedented milestone in endurance sports
On September 6, 2024, Jonas Deichmann successfully completed his impressive world record of 106 consecutive long-distance triathlons . Since May 9, 2024, he has completed a long-distance triathlon every day on the DATEV Challenge Roth course, resulting in the following impressive numbers:
- 402.8 km – Total swimming distance: 3.8 km per day × 106 days
- 19,080 km – Total cycling distance: 180 km per day × 106 days
- 4,473.2 km – Total running distance: 42.2 km per day × 106 days
- 1 million calories – total calorie consumption over 106 days (estimated)
Jonas Deichmann's daily challenge not only included these enormous distances, but also a strict schedule to meet the high physical demands. His body needed up to 14 liters of fluid per day and he had numerous supporters who accompanied him on the individual stages. On the day of the world record, around 300 supporters ran with him to the finish line, celebrating his achievement.
