I don't just sell timers; I use them myself – currently the RC81 for functional training and HIIT. The direct feedback from my coaches and fellow trainees is our most important source of inspiration.
An example from our training: We often complete a circuit with 8 stations – 40 seconds of action, 20 seconds of transition rest. While phone apps are often interrupted by calls or are difficult to operate on sweaty screens, we rely on real buttons. A pre-saved interval like 40/20 can be immediately recalled: simply enter the number of rounds, and you're ready to go.
After the first round, the coach simply presses the start/stop button to pause the session for a short breather. Once everyone has regained their color, another press of the button restarts the next round without any reprogramming. Many of my fellow trainees love looking at the display: the visible remaining time is a huge motivator to perform the exercise perfectly until the last second.
